Shattered

The reflection in between her eyes

​Is a window to her soul inside

Tears so deep you can drown and die

Her worst fear is realized 

When I gaze in her eyes 

I see pain inside

Feeling depressed and all alone

Heart made of glass but her mind of stone

Shattered because her love is blind

The hardest prison to escape is the mind
